We also work with experts and authors to develop their intellectual property into programs that others can teach and deliver.
WHY AURUM CO. EXISTS
Aurum Co. grew out of Kayla Burch’s work developing programs for leading names in the personal development industry. Taking an expert’s methodology and preparing other people to deliver it required more than organizing the content. It meant understanding the decisions behind the work and building the curriculum, guidance, and standards that made it transferable.
That experience also shaped her work with organizations. Teams need a clear direction and leaders who can translate it into daily decisions. They need the skills, systems, and support to carry the work through. Aurum Co.’s team helps organizations put those pieces in place through planning, leadership development, and practical work with their teams.
Today, Aurum Co. supports strategic and succession planning, workshops, training, leadership retreats, program development, and event programming. Aurum Co.’s expert and IP work develops methodologies into curricula, flagship programs, workshops, and certifications, with the materials others need to deliver them.
Aurum means gold in Latin. The name reflects the value already present in an organization’s people and knowledge, or in an expert’s body of work. Aurum Co.’s role is to help make that value usable and transferable.

Kayla Burch
Founder and CEO
Kayla Burch is the founder and CEO of Aurum Co. For more than a decade, she has worked with leading names in the personal development industry, taking their intellectual property and methodologies and building the programs, curriculum, and delivery systems that allow others to teach and apply their work.
Her work requires a close understanding of how an expert gets results: the questions they ask, the decisions they make, and the judgment they have developed through experience. Kayla draws out that knowledge and translates it into a methodology others can learn. She develops the program around it, from the participant experience to the facilitation guides, training, and standards that support consistent delivery.
Kayla leads Aurum Co., a team of experts and consultants working with organizations to improve their systems, strengthen leadership, and help teams achieve the outcomes they are working toward. Aurum Co.’s work includes strategic and succession planning, leadership development, workshops, and training. The team helps leaders connect the direction of the organization to the decisions, responsibilities, and capabilities their people need to carry it forward.
Kayla has built an accredited coaching certification and developed her own methodology, giving her firsthand experience with the full process of turning expertise into a program others can use. That experience shapes how she approaches every engagement: understand the work deeply, preserve what makes it effective, and build the structure that allows more people to benefit from it.
Nancy brings more than 20 years of experience building relationships, developing people, and creating opportunities for growth. With more than six years of focused experience coaching, training, and facilitating across multiple platforms, she brings a strong understanding of people, performance, and how to turn ideas into meaningful action.
At AURUM, Nancy focuses on strategic relationships, business development, client engagement, and solution development. She helps prospective clients clarify their needs and connect with the right AURUM solutions, supporting the relationship from the first conversation into a well-defined engagement.

Michelle brings more than 25 years of experience navigating business operations, technology, leadership, and entrepreneurship. With a strong ability to connect strategy to execution, she brings clarity to complex challenges, strengthens the systems behind the business, and creates the structure and alignment that help people and organizations perform at a higher level.
At AURUM, Michelle leads business operations and client success with a focus on operational excellence, service delivery, and the client experience. She works across the organization to optimize processes, strengthen accountability, and turn strategic priorities into consistent action, helping ensure both the business and its clients are positioned for sustainable success.

For organizations, we look at the priorities, leadership, and working conditions affecting the outcome. When the cause of an execution problem is unclear, we use an Execution Review and the Five Conditions to identify what needs attention. When you already know what you need, we can scope a planning, development, or facilitation engagement directly.
For experts and methodology owners, we start with your intellectual property, who it serves, and how you want others to use it. We define the methodology and build the program and delivery materials around it. Aurum Co.’s experts and consultants work together around the needs of each engagement, with an agreed scope, clear deliverables, and a handoff that prepares your people to carry the work forward.
